Financial Controller

A key Financial Controller position has become available at Hays Accountancy and Finance, reporting to the Financial Director. The successful candidate will lead on the management of the Balance Sheet and associated processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Implement controls to minimise risk on the balance sheet and highlight opportunities for improvements.
- Present analysis and commentary on the consolidated Group Balance sheet to senior stakeholders monthly.
- Coordinate the year-end audit process, liaising with cross-functional teams, and be the key point of contact for the group's auditors.
- Play a vital role in projects, such as the implementation of a new ERP system and wider transformation initiatives across finance.
A fully qualified accountant with strong financial control experience in large and complex businesses is required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of balance sheet control and risk management, as well as extensive exposure to audit processes and liaison with external auditors.
A 12 month Fixed Term Contract is available, and the successful candidate will be expected to commit to this duration.
