Civil and Structural Design Expert

Jackson Hogg is seeking a skilled Civil and Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Hull. As a key member of the engineering consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality design solutions and documentation for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structural steelwork designs and analysis to support process equipment and plant, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external designers to deliver structural designs that meet project scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide support and guidance on design-related matters.
  • Contribute to the production of scope of works with clearly defined deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Document updates to designs and maintain accurate records in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or Higher HND/Higher BTEC qualification.
  • Proven experience in design engineering, particularly in the delivery of minor modifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
