We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineer to join our team in Hull. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects, providing technical leadership and expertise, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nuclear design work, inspections, and construction site support on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK and overseas.
  • Concept and feasibility studies for multi-discipline design projects.
  • Analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla and Robot, as well as producing hand calculations.
  • Prepare calculations, CDM activities, basis of design, material specifications, scopes of work, technical reports, inter-discipline design coordination, and supervision.
  • Liaise with technicians in the preparation of Revit models.
  • Work with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects.
  • Ensure all work is carried out with a positive attitude towards safety, both in design and in the office environment.
  • Be responsible for the management of project delivery and mentor and provide technical support to CS&A Engineers.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
  • Previous experience within the nuclear industry and design for seismic loading is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory standards.
