Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) Full time

Job Overview

Are you dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care?

The Vascular Science division offers a patient-centered ultrasound service. Our team consists of experienced Vascular Associates and Clinical Vascular Scientists. The role of Vascular Science Support Specialist encompasses both clinical assistance and administrative responsibilities, playing a vital role in the smooth and safe operation of the Vascular Science service.

Key Responsibilities

This position merges administrative tasks with direct patient interaction. Responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, managing referrals, and addressing inquiries from service users. Additionally, you will assist in preparing patients for ultrasound procedures and ensuring efficient patient flow within the department.

Attention to detail is paramount, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills are essential, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team is crucial. You should be capable of prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently to handle multiple responsibilities without requiring constant oversight. While prior administrative experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory, and we will provide training in vascular ultrasound.

Are you looking to start your career in the NHS? Or perhaps you are an existing NHS employee seeking advancement or a new direction? If you are interested in joining our supportive team, we encourage you to submit your application.

Shortlisting will be conducted based on the person specification. Please ensure that your supporting evidence clearly demonstrates how your skills and experiences align with these criteria.
