We are seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tetra Tech. As a leading provider of consulting and engineering services, we deliver complex projects worldwide, and we need your expertise to help us lead the way.

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on ground-breaking projects, developing your skills in structural design, and collaborating with senior colleagues on flagship and regionally significant schemes. You will be involved in the production of designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports, and will have the opportunity to work towards professional qualification with the Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of fully coordinated structural designs on a wide variety of projects, working closely with members of structures teams locally and nationally.
  • Liaison with statutory authorities, architects, design teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Development of skills in the use of the latest design software, such as Tekla Structural Designer and Revit.
  • Assistance in design reviews and verification checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participation in site visits and surveys to gather data and inform design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng) with experience in structural design.
  • Previous technical or industry experience is advantageous.
  • Commitment to achieving chartered status with IStructE or ICE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Suitability for Security Clearance to permit working on Defence Projects.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
