About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at AKT II. As a key member of our design-led company, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering designs for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our design processes and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Good degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Candidate near-chartered or looking to obtain chartership with IStructE or ICE or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design and analysis software, including 3D modeling and simulation tools.
