About the Team

The Investment Funds division of our client provides engaging and intricate work within a collaborative setting. They possess extensive expertise in aiding fund sponsors and investors across various regions, including the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Africa, in navigating the complexities they encounter. Their clientele encompasses a diverse range of investment funds.

Role Responsibilities

This position is designed for growth, offering opportunities for career advancement.

In this role, you will provide counsel to fund managers regarding the structuring, formation, and initiation of private funds across multiple sectors, including private equity, infrastructure, hedge, and hybrid funds. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to operate autonomously while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting and negotiating Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Articles of Incorporation, and Management Contracts.
  • Preparing Subscription Agreements and Side Letters.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in Investment Funds from a highly regarded firm.

Our client is open to considering candidates who may be more specialized and are looking to expand their skill set, including those from Australia and New Zealand.

Ideal candidates will also exhibit the following attributes:

  • Relevant experience in general funds matters with a desire for a long-term career.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, along with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to comply with the firm's internal policies and procedures.
