Technical Sales Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and growing our business by providing automation and robotic solution sales to existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to identify and recommend enhancements, modifications, or upgrades that will benefit their business and prove commercially advantageous.
  • Create and maintain sales analysis sheets for each enquiry received and report results in weekly sales meetings.
  • Provide quotations for enquiries and review internally prior to sending to customers.
  • Understand budgetary and timescale requirements for enquiries and communicate regularly with customers throughout the life of the enquiry.
  • Set up sales handover meetings to transfer details of the order to the technical team and support the project team and customer throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements:
  • Previous technical sales and account management experience gained through working with automation systems, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Qualification to at least HND level or above in a relevant engineering or business-related discipline.
  • Self-motivated and organised approach to making the best use of time, with excellent communication skills at all levels and flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
