About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter System Software Architect to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of systems software for our datacenter infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient datacenter systems software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
  • Work closely with data center infrastructure, computing resource management, and SRE teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Define and drive the stability engineering, performance optimization engineering, and new direction of system-level hardware and software co-design.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of datacenter system software knowledge, including server architecture, CPU/GPU architecture, server firmware, OS, Linux Kernel, datacenter networking, datacenter storage, and compilers.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Many years of deep system software background (OS / Kernel / Storage / Networking / Compiler).
  • Good understanding of datacenter system software knowledge, including but not limited to server architecture, CPU/GPU architecture, server firmware, OS, Linux Kernel, datacenter networking, datacenter storage, or compilers.
  • Effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management, and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of getting things done and shipping projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment where self-motivated, autonomy, and self-decision making are needed.
