Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Inspire the People Services & Partnering Function: Develop a high-performing team and lead in the delivery of a key transformation for the department.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate, influence, and enable business leaders and their teams to deliver their priorities through effective and expert People Planning.
  • Subject Matter Expert Leads: Manage Subject Matter Expert leads with responsibility for operations of their functions.
  • Employee Relations: Lead the review and on-going enhancement of the Employee Relations capability within the People Directorate and across the organization.
  • Employee Experience: Work with People Directorate Management Committee to evaluate and improve the employee experience by developing and implementing policies.
  • Employee and Service Value Proposition: Work with People Directorate Leaders to review and improve the employee and service value proposition which meets the needs of the organization.
  • HR Systems and Technology: Lead the review of existing HR systems and technology in collaboration with the People & Culture Strategy Programme, recommending improvements including digital solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Senior HR Generalist Experience: Extensive senior HR generalist experience in a Public Sector body.
  • Employee Relations Experience: Experience of leading an employee relations team with complex casework.
  • HR Business Partnering Experience: Demonstratable experience of leading a HR Business Partnering team.
  • People Strategies: Extensive experience in designing and contributing to People Strategies.
