We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Technical Manager to join our team at MorePeople. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing dedicated technical service to internal and external customers, ensuring product quality and customer compliance with customer standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer technical development to drive growth and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure product safety, legality, and quality to protect the business and customer requirements.
  • Lead innovation, quality improvement projects, and new product development (NPD).
  • Be the main point of contact for customer teams, hosting visits to Flamingo and supplier sites.
  • Maintain accurate customer specifications and communicate technical policies to internal teams and suppliers.
  • Support the technical agenda in line with Flamingo's business objectives.
  • Use data to monitor performance and ensure the business is meeting \"fit to supply\" standards.
  • Optimise systems and processes to create a more efficient, cost-effective business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing product quality, food safety, and compliance.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in produce or prepared produce.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Formal qualification in food science or agronomy preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
