Quality Project Engineer

Mercury Systems International is a leading provider of complex high-performance safety and mission-critical avionics and defense computers. We are seeking a Quality Project Engineer to join our Quality team in Silchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of lessons learned processes to feedback from other projects and In-Service.
  • Lead work packages through various project phases, ensuring adherence to quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Establish and cascade quality requirements to external suppliers.
  • Prepare and perform Customer First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) according to EN9102.
  • Direct contact with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain systems to measure and drive performance.
  • Ensure the application of APQP processes in project phases when applicable.
  • Lead new process qualification during project phases.
  • Perform internal and external system and product audits as required.
  • Support EN/AS9100 recertification and surveillance audits for MSI.
Requirements
  • MS degree in Engineering or Quality.
  • Strong technical background in Mechanical and Electronics.
  • Quality auditor training.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Aviation, Space, and Defense (ASD) industry, medical, or automotive.
  • English spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to work from home.
  • Flexible working hours.
