Mercury Systems International is a leading provider of complex high-performance safety and mission-critical avionics and defense computers. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Project Engineer to join our team in Silchester, UK.

As a Quality Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products throughout the project lifecycle. This includes direct contact with customers and suppliers, managing quality requirements, and performing audits.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining systems to measure and drive performance, ensuring compliance with APQP and EN/AS9100 standards.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting lessons learned processes to feedback from other projects and In-Service
* Leading work packages and being an active member of IPTs
* Collaborating with NPI, Chief Engineer, PM, and purchasing to establish quality requirements
* Preparing and performing Customer First Article Inspection Reports
* Direct contact with customers and suppliers on quality issues
* Developing and maintaining performance measurement systems
* Ensuring APQP process application in project phases
* Leading New Process qualification during Project phase
* Performing internal and external system and product audits
* Helping prepare and manage EN/AS9100 recertification and surveillance audits

Requirements:
* MS degree in Engineering or Quality
* Strong technical background in Mechanical and Electronics
* Quality auditor training
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Aviation, Space, and Defense industry
* English spoken and written
* Flexibility to work from home
