Position Overview

We are excited to announce openings for both Full Time and Part Time Support Workers in our Respite Service. This role is centered around providing essential care and assistance to individuals in need of support.

Compensation: £12.00 per hour
Work Hours: Available contracts include two 15-hour positions and one 30-hour position.

Our respite service is designed to offer care and support for short-term stays, ensuring that every individual receives the attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will embody our core values by providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities and complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Administering medication as required.
  • Creating a warm and nurturing environment that fosters a sense of value and respect.
  • Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Tackling challenges with determination and compassion.

Qualifications

No prior experience or specific qualifications are necessary for this role. Upon joining Making Space, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and the opportunity to pursue professional qualifications as needed.
