About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetist to join our team as a Lead Anaesthetist. This is a clinical leadership role that requires a strong background in anaesthesia and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy.
- Work closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director.
- Contribute to the development of Clinical Quality Standards and participate in our audit and clinical governance programme.
- Participate in the annual revalidation and reaccreditation schemes of the GMC and the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
Requirements
- Current registration with the GMC's specialist register of anaesthetists.
- Several years' experience, at least 2 of which are within the UK.
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development.
