Position Overview

Job Title: Risk Analysis Specialist
Location: West-Midlands (1 day per week), Remote (if needed)
Compensation: £55,000 - £65, % Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your knowledge in Risk Analysis, Pricing Strategies, and Loss Cost Assessments to support the creation of competitor and demand analysis.
  • Participate in pioneering projects from inception and contribute to pricing advancements.
  • Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of general insurance demand and competitor analysis models, ensuring comprehensive market insight and maintaining competitive alignment.
  • Work alongside a technically proficient team and actively engage in developing pricing frameworks using Predictive Analytics or Machine Learning techniques.
  • Leverage your stakeholder engagement skills to effectively convey intricate concepts and results to various internal and external parties.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter authority, providing guidance on best practices and mentoring a small team.

Role Summary:

Join Adecco's Pricing Development division as a Risk Analysis Specialist and play a crucial role in shaping and innovating pricing methodologies. As part of a diverse and forward-thinking team, you will be instrumental in ensuring equitable pricing for our clients.

Your main focus will be on demand analysis and pricing innovation. You will have the chance to apply your advanced analytical skills, ideally utilizing R and WTW Radar software, to create and implement state-of-the-art pricing frameworks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, will be essential to achieving successful results.

Candidate Profile:

As a seasoned Risk Analysis Specialist, you are committed to enhancing performance and pursuing excellence. You have a proven history in a Pricing team, with direct experience in developing pricing frameworks and comprehensive design processes. Your technical proficiency in GLMs/GBMs, Machine Learning techniques, and industry knowledge will be highly regarded.
