Job Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a Compliance Officer to join our esteemed client, a leading sandwich and salad manufacturer. With a turnover of over £25m, they have established a strong reputation for quality and safety. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and promoting food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the production line staff adhere to good manufacturing and hygiene practices, providing advice and training as needed.
  2. Work closely with the production and quality team to address quality and safety issues, ensuring all relevant information is recorded, communicated, and investigated.
  3. Be the technical point of contact for the PM shift and responsible for the escalation procedure.
  4. Support and progress the food safety culture.
  5. Conduct temperature monitoring around the site and take necessary actions.
Requirements
  1. Good knowledge of food safety and quality.
  2. Food safety level 3 certification.
  3. Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role, although not essential.
  4. Familiarity with Windows, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
