About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin speaking Accountant to join our team at People First. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial accounting, processing, reviewing and control responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate core financial systems on a daily basis, including accounting entry input and other operations as required;
  • Assist in completing regular financial reports to senior management and regulatory authorities in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Prepare daily management information reports and monitor financial and regulatory indicators;
  • Take ownership of expenses, suspense accounts, cash management, and financial statistics;
  • Reconcile nostro, vostro, and security custodian accounts;
  • Assist with company fixed assets management and other projects as required;
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of transaction records and data;
  • Complete other tasks as required by the line manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
  • ACCA or ACA qualification (or part qualified) preferred;
  • Relevant experience in banking and finance;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
