Apptad Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as developing and testing software applications. You will work closely with IT professionals throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
  • Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems that arise during the use and operation of software packages, including providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in J2EE development tools, such as WebSphere Application Development environment utilizing tools like RSA or Eclipse.
  • Proven ability to integrate commercially available APIs, including design and implementation of load balancing, discovery, and resiliency.
  • Deep understanding of IBM WebSphere Portal development and experience with IBM UrbanCode tools.
  • Solid expertise in Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, and JSP.
  • Proficiency in React, Angular, CSS, Agile paradigm usage of RSA, and Java development.
  • Experience with Oracle and Open Source databases.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and Spring Boot.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CSS, responsive development, and HTML5.
  • Extensive experience coding for mobile devices.
  • 10+ years of experience developing J2EE applications in compliance with PCI and WCAG 2.0 Standards, ensuring AODA compliance.
  • Familiarity with JAWS, WAIARIA, HTML 5, and Hi Sheriff.
  • Previous experience developing and supporting Driver, Vehicle, and Health services within the ServiceOntario web portal.
  • Experience with Canada Post Address module, IBM Web Content Management, and Government Payment Gateway.
