Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Wade Macdonald. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support to our Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and report financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage project-based costs and revenues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Operate credit control processes to maximize cash collections and minimize bad debts.
- Conduct monthly close processes, including bank reconciliations and journal processing.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and VAT return preparation.
- Support external accountants in producing annual financial statements and tax returns.
- Implement a new accounting system to improve reporting and business visibility.
- Collaborate closely with the MD on performance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage data quality within the accounting system and support ad-hoc projects.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with at least three years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong reconciliation and analysis skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and excellent communication abilities.
