A leading business is seeking a Senior Manager Financial Reporting to lead and oversee the financial reporting and accounting aspects related to IFRS16 and fixed assets. This role is integral to the ongoing projects related to Lease accounting, IFRS16, and fixed asset management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the financial reporting and accounting aspects related to IFRS16 and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and effective management of fair value adjustments to fixed assets and leasing under IFRS16.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring they comply with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Provide expert technical accounting guidance on complex issues related to IFRS16 and fixed asset management.
- Lead and coordinate financial projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Oversee statutory accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams, including finance, audit, and external advisors, to support financial reporting and project goals.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a deep understanding of IFRS16 and fixed asset management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
