South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Receptionists at our community leisure facility.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing cash transactions, issuing receipts, and preparing funds for deposit, in addition to operating our electronic booking system.
Previous experience in a customer-focused role is preferred, and familiarity with computerized cash register systems is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of cash handling and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Address customer inquiries, providing assistance and information in alignment with our customer service standards.
- Perform clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the reception area and other facility functions.
- Promote all activities and services available at the facility to patrons.
- Receive and distribute mail and deliveries as needed.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the team.
