Overview:
A well-regarded Contractor in the industry is seeking an Estimator to enhance their dynamic sales team. The role involves:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop proposals that fully reflect customer requirements, utilizing innovative methods such as video presentations.
2. Support the presentation of proposals to clients through virtual platforms or phone calls.
3. Ensure smooth transition of client instructions to the Service and Projects Delivery teams.
4. Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries.
5. Organize and execute survey appointments.
6. Generate quotations for minor works projects and remedial tasks.
7. Create detailed estimates and documented quotes.
8. Produce comprehensive designs and quotations for new inquiries.
9. Develop system designs in accordance with British Standards and Industry Design Guidelines.
10. Coordinate and participate in site surveys.
11. Maintain up-to-date CRM and pipeline records.
12. Follow up on quotations and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
13. Prepare sales reports and forecasts.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Technical acumen with prior training and industry experience.
- Strong research capabilities.
- Creative thinking to challenge specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Experience in surveying and designing Fire, Security, Access and Call Systems and related products and services.
- Familiarity with relevant British Standards and codes of practice.
- Proficiency in CAD design is advantageous.
- Experience in maintaining, installing, or commissioning systems is a plus.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Strong sense of accountability and motivation.
