Job Title: Principal Computational Genetics Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Computational Genetics Scientist to join our Genetics group at Next-Link. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large-scale genetic data to support the development of new treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced computational methods for analyzing genetic data
  • Develop and apply statistical genetics techniques to identify genetic variants associated with disease
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate genetic data into the drug discovery process
  • Communicate complex scientific findings to diverse audiences
Requirements:
  • PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
  • Expertise in statistical genetics and computational methods for analyzing genetic data
  • Strong programming skills in R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience working in a cloud environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the application of genetics and genetic approaches to drug discovery and development
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
  • Relevant biology expertise
