Job Summary:

VINCI Energies, a leading provider of engineering design, project management, installation, and commissioning services, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in the UK. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in interpreting line diagrams and written specifications to create accurate quotations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the estimating team, shop floor, projects team, and customers to ensure seamless communication and delivery of high-quality estimates.
  • Utilize software packages, including AutoCad LT, to create 2D drawings and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of electrical components, electrical symbols, and relevant industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues as needed to ensure a high level of technical expertise within the team.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical estimating, preferably in the switchgear and automation industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, including LV and HV systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, and AutoCad LT.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
