Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration the need to maintain a high level of security.
  • Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part of a comprehensive healthcare package based on the prison services needs.
  • Be an integral member of the Medicines Management team, which forms part of the wider cluster of Healthcare Services. Practice Plus Group policies and procedures and statutory frameworks governing patient care in a prison setting will be used to deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
  • Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team
