About the RoleThis is a 2-year fixed-term contract, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in various areas of pharmacy, including dispensaries, wards, and production. The role will involve working under the supervision of a pharmacist or technician and will provide the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies to achieve a General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) accredited course.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Working in various areas of pharmacy, including dispensaries, wards, and production
- Rotating through different areas of pharmacy to gain a broad range of experience
- Developing knowledge, skills, and competencies to achieve a GPhC accredited course
- Working under the supervision of a pharmacist or technician
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:
- 5 or equivalent at grade 4 (C) or above, including English, Maths, and two science subjects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work using own initiative and prioritize own work to meet deadlines
