Pharmacy Technician Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician. This is a brand new and exciting training opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with the skills and knowledge to register and work as a pharmacy technician.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be required to work in various areas of pharmacy, including dispensaries, wards, and production. They will gain the skills to accurately assemble medicines for prescriptions, provide medicines management for patients on a ward, and contribute to a safe and effective pharmacy service.
During the training period, the candidate will have the opportunity to work in either General Practice or NHCT Mental Health Services, responding to prescription requests, reviewing hospital discharge/clinic letters, and reconciling medication against current medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist/Technician.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- English GCSE grade 4 (C) or above
- Maths GCSE grade 4 (C) or above
- Science GCSE grade 4 (C) or above
- One other GCSE grade 4 (C) or above
- Able to communicate clearly
