We are seeking a Night Hygiene Operative to join our team at Avara Foods, a leading food business in the UK. As a Night Hygiene Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Follow food safety rules and guidelines
- Meet individual and department targets
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Manual handling of plant and equipment
- Isolation of plant and machinery
- Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
- Carry out instructions as given by Team Leader/Management
Requirements:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively

Avara Foods is a leading food business in the UK, supplying chicken and turkey to major supermarkets and well-known restaurants. We own and manage our entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door. Our Hereford site is one of our largest facilities, processing chicken products across two factory facilities.
