About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Hygiene Process Leader to join our team at our Wednesbury site. As a key member of our hygiene team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our production facilities.
The Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.00, plus shift allowance of £2.00 between 18:00 and 06:00

Working Hours:
40/40 days, 05:30 - 18:00
About the Job:
As a Process Leader, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with production to ensure all cleaning schedules and standards are achieved and maintained
- Supervising and managing the hygiene staff and maintaining ongoing staff training
- Reviewing hygiene staffing levels, including planning and implementation of workplace rotas
- Completing all relevant information booking on the TMS system in the absence of the Hygiene Manager
- Carrying out deep cleaning of production equipment and hygiene equipment over each weekend
- Liaising with Departmental Managers regarding changes to the production plan and equipment availability
- Ensuring all Avara hygiene standards are trained out and maintained
- Responsible for reviewing swab results and investigating repeat fails
- Liaising with the Engineering department to review outstanding actions and repairs
- Establishing effective handovers between each shift
- Responsible for the correct chemical application and quantities being used
- Responsible for the availability of hygiene equipment to meet business demands
- Holiday/absence cover for Hygiene Manager
- Responsible for overseeing Hygiene audits and feeding back on improvements
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Operative with a background in FMCG manufacturing. You will have supervisory experience and knowledge of BRCGS. A general understanding of basic food microbiology and experience of poultry processing industry would be desirable.
