About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Myton Hospices. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Registered Nurses in delivering holistic nursing care to patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Assess and respond to patients' needs, providing emotional support and comfort measures as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to Myton Hospice policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Two years' experience of hospice, hospital, or community nursing
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working and palliative care settings
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (either achieved, working towards, or willing to undertake)
  • Full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK
