About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Myton at Home team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Registered Nurses in the delivery of holistic nursing care to patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Assess and respond to patients' needs, providing evidence-based care and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist patients with personal and emotional care, promoting dignity and respect at all times

Requirements

  • Two years' experience of hospice, hospital, or community nursing
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working and palliative care settings
  • Experience of caring for patients and families with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (either achieved, working towards, or willing to undertake)
