Mechanical Design Engineer

p>Personnel Selection is working with a fantastic business, who are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding workforce./p>h2>Company Overview/h2>p>The business is a privately owned engineering SME based in Wiltshire, with clients all over the globe. They are a profitable, innovative business and have secured exciting long-term contracts with some extremely well-known companies./p>p>As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be expected to carry out drawing updates, BOM changes, engineering calculations and general engineering duties. You will liaise between the technical and production department on quality and production matters, capturing, logging and promoting good engineering practice at all times./p>p>We are looking for someone with a passion for innovative design and a good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD./p>p>h2>Key Responsibilities/h2>ul>li>Carry out drawing updates and BOM changes/li>li>Conduct engineering calculations and general engineering duties/li>li>Liaise between the technical and production department on quality and production matters/li>li>Capture, log and promote good engineering practice at all times/li>/ul>p>h2>Requirements/h2>p>We want to hear from you if you have a good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD and a passion for innovative design./p>p>h2>What We Offer/h2>p>The salary for this position is £30k - £40k, depending on your experience. This is an office-based position and there is free onsite parking available./p>
