About the Role
Pertemps Network Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Process Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the integrity of production and quality systems through the machines, equipment, process, and employees that add business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and establish key engineering processes in line with the Engineering Road Map.
- Develop and execute a cost-effective maintenance program to meet the site demands for safety, quality, and performance.
- Plan, improve, and execute maintenance of site equipment to improve reliability.
- Develop and implement Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems.
- Drive the people agenda and focus on talent pipeline development, ensuring individuals have the right competencies and behaviors within the department.
- Analyze and develop recommendations regarding failures and lost production, and identify and implement solutions to improve the system, standard work, and processes.
- Lead and implement proactive maintenance and reliability, production excellence, and continuous improvement activities.
- Develop deep knowledge of operational excellence and coach teams on the use of principles and tools.
- Support the implementation of smart factory software to drive reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Communicate effectively to report on the status of lines and equipment based on OEE.
- Lead, coach, and guide to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company and statutory requirements.
- Drive and support reliability-centered maintenance FMECA activities.
- Motivate the engineering team through effective leadership and coaching.
- Adhere to planned maintenance schedules through effective resource planning.
- Analyze CMMS data to assist forward planning and opportunities for equipment improvements.
Requirements
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and technical staff to troubleshoot and eliminate root cause issues of nonconformities.
- Experience planning engineering requirements and activities by establishing priorities, scheduling, assigning work, and communicating with area staff and key stakeholders frequently and regularly within timelines.
- Deep knowledge and experience with the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, Mainsaver PM knowledge, and Office 365 skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under own initiative in a high-speed environment.
- Significant experience in leading and developing a team.
- Knowledge of quality standards and the effect of incidents on quality.
- Effective team worker, influencer, and communicator.
- High enthusiasm and passion.
Essential Qualifications
- Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or a ONC / HNC Or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines or degree trained.
- If none of the above, minimum level 3 C&G with minimum 5 years in a similar industry.
- Experience within a Maintenance environment.
- Strong ability to make logical decisions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize own workload.
- Ability to work under pressure.
