We are seeking a Senior Product Merchandiser to enhance the merchandising operations and contribute to the strategic planning at Boohoo. In this role, you will directly oversee your team to maximize sales and ensure the profitability of all brand segments. Collaborating with the Head of Merchandising, you will develop a robust strategy for the brand, optimizing each segment for peak profitability.
Your Team
Our Merchandising department manages a vast array of over 30,000 styles available online, making our responsibilities significant and our reputation even greater. We are driven by data, trends, and fashion insights to maintain our position as a global market leader, always being the first to launch new products. We pride ourselves on our innovative test and repeat model, ensuring that we have the right inventory in the right locations at the right times.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets by category, including option counts and purchase depth, aligned with the overall business and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Merchandising to establish a clear brand strategy, optimizing each area for maximum profitability.
- Oversee stock levels by category, informed by weekly sales data and stock intake assessments.
- Analyze sales performance to identify best and worst sellers, providing actionable recommendations.
- Propose promotional strategies and reorders as necessary.
- Monitor and uphold buying margins and gross profit margins as required.
- Provide the Merchandising Director and buying team with essential data for informed decision-making and planning.
- Manage daily operations of the brand, including team management, conducting one-on-one meetings, and overseeing category management.
