About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Quality Specialist to join our Water Sampling Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our drinking water meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel across the Suffolk region to collect water samples and conduct chlorine measurements and other tests
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe drinking water for our customers, communities, and the environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sampling processes and methods
  • Ensure compliance with Sampling and Analysis Regulations (DWI drinking water regulations, MCERTS, and Private Water Supply)
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is highly self-motivated, able to work to deadlines, and has a flexible and positive 'can-do' attitude. You will have a good working knowledge of sampling processes and methods, as well as strong attention to detail to manage the quality system.

You will be reliable and adaptable to changing and challenging situations. Ideally, you will have previous sampling experience, have worked in a UKAS Laboratory accredited environment, and hold a full driving license.
