About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Quality Technician to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our Water Sampling Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our drinking water meets the highest standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of sampling and analysis regulations, including DWI drinking water regulations, MCERTS, and Private Water Supply. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail to manage our quality system.

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the Suffolk region to sample and carry out chlorine measurements and other tests to ensure compliance with our high-quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe drinking water for our customers, communities, and the environment.
  • Manage the quality system, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of sampling processes and methods.

Requirements

  • Valid full UK manual driving license.
  • Previous sampling experience, preferably in a UKAS Laboratory accredited environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
