About Ambient Support:

Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker:
  • Delivering social and emotional support in both home and community settings.
  • Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene and grooming.
  • Helping with shopping and managing budgets.
  • Fostering and maintaining relationships with residents' families and friends.
  • Performing household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities, including Autism, is preferred, but we encourage applications from candidates with varying levels of experience as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Empathy, sensitivity, and a strong understanding of the needs of others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A valid driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
