Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly cash flow forecasts utilizing ledger information.
- Generate and present monthly reports highlighting accounts requiring attention and necessary actions.
- Accurately post invoices into the financial system.
- Raise and monitor payment applications using the designated system (CIS).
- Employ effective credit control strategies to ensure timely payment of all invoices listed in the debtor ledger.
- Manage the collection of outstanding retentions (CIS).
- Collaborate with contract teams to verify the accuracy of final accounts for approval (CIS).
- Secure director approval for any contract terms that may be less favorable.
- Engage external legal teams to issue Letters Before Action when debts become overdue.
- Oversee all aspects of sales ledger management and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A mature, customer-focused approach, capable of managing challenging discussions and customer complaints.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit control or sales ledger management.
