As a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assisting with daily routines, including working in the community and/or educational settings
- Organising and facilitating social activities
- Transportation and working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Offering high levels of supervision and support, working in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations
- Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention, contributing to the young person's care plans and risk assessments
To be successful as a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working within a child and/or young adult setting
- To be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- Diploma level 3 in children's and young people, desirable level 4
