We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Environmental Consultant to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our environmental team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and responsible management of nuclear sites.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for nuclear sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead bid teams and prepare proposals for environmental services, highlighting your expertise and experience in nuclear environmental management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality environmental services, including training and development programs.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement activities, facilitating workshops and communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, actively pursuing relevant certifications and technical leadership opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • A degree qualification in an environmental, physical science, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in a comparable role, with a strong understanding of nuclear site permitting and operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor outputs to different stakeholders.
  • Good people skills, with experience in training and development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Desirable qualities include actively pursuing relevant certifications, recognized technical leadership, and practical experience in environmental management on nuclear sites.
