About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Calculation Analyst to join our team at Proactive Appointments. As a Pensions Calculation Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and calculation services for defined benefits and defined contribution pension schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex pension calculations, including data extracts and write-backs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize Python programming language and other object-oriented languages to code and test calculation software.
- Work with large portfolios of DB, DC, and hybrid schemes, ensuring accurate and timely calculations.
- Interpret and apply pension legislation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on pension scheme matters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DB pensions calculation, with a strong understanding of pension legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and other object-oriented languages.
- Experience working with UNIX and SQL is advantageous, but not mandatory.
