Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the activities of a team of production team members to achieve daily and annual volume throughput targets.
- Contribute to achieving quality standards required by the company, including the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S and 7 wastes.
- Ensure the maintenance, upkeep, and reporting of business development plans (BDPs) in your area, and contribute to the continuous improvement of production and business processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to achieve high-quality working practices and processes.
- Assist in the analysis and resolution of problems, and define and determine appropriate actions to improve production and business processes.
- Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, and that all team members are using the correct protective clothing.
- No formal qualifications are necessary, but a foundation degree in engineering would be preferred.
- Understanding and experience in a manufacturing/process-driven environment is essential.
- Good level of knowledge for Microsoft Office packages, and high attention to detail and quality standards.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, mid-week, and weekend work.
