CNC Laser Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Engineer to join our team. As a CNC Laser Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing a range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining CNC and Laser machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Working in the workshop to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Collecting and delivering machinery and spare parts as required.
  • Communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
  • Installing and commissioning new machinery to ensure smooth operation.
  • Performing fault-finding and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance of Halifax.
  • Willingness to stay away from home for up to 2-3 nights per week, Monday to Thursday.
  • A recognized electrical qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving, particularly with CO2 laser cutting for non-metal materials and Laser machines for metal cutting, is highly desirable.
