About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Trusts and Foundations Officer to contribute to the growth of the Trusts and Foundations programme at Imperial College. This role is broad and varied, supporting a range of fundraising activities from researching potential funders to managing a portfolio of trust and foundation prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with academics and other key stakeholders to identify fundraising opportunities and gather information and budgets.
  • Identify prospects that align with fundraising priorities and develop relationships with senior academic and administrative staff.
  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, cultivating relationships and securing gifts of £25k and over.
  • Produce effective written proposals, applications, presentations, and reports for fundraising and stewardship purposes.

What You Would Be Doing

In this role, you will be working closely with the Trusts and Foundations team to support the growth of the programme. You will have the opportunity to play an integral role in an ambitious and hard-working team, contributing to the development of fundraising strategies and activities.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices.
