About the Role

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in securing vital funding to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and steward long-term relationships with charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant-giving organisations.
  • Research and develop new funding pipelines, managing multiple contacts and relationships.
  • Write and submit compelling grant applications, ensuring a high success rate.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donor interactions, applications, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising to achieve fundraising targets and goals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising from trusts and foundations, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent writing, proof-reading, and organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong financial literacy and budget management skills, with the ability to manage multiple budgets and projects.
  • IT proficiency, with experience of CRM systems such as ThankQ.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
