About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our Fundraising Team at St Giles Trust. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations to support our work in helping people facing adversity to find jobs, homes, and the right support they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities from charitable trusts and foundations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing donors and stakeholders
  • Write and submit high-quality funding applications to secure grants and donations
  • Conduct prospect research and analysis to inform fundraising strategies
  • Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events and activities
Requirements
  • One year's experience working in an administrative role
  • Proven ability to research, identify, and develop individual approaches to charitable trusts and foundations
  • Experience of managing relationships with external stakeholders or supporters, preferably in a charity/voluntary organisation
  • Excellent prioritisation, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A flexible, collaborative, and professional approach to your work
