We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Gastroenterology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Develop and implement subspecialty interests and skills, supported by the department.
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of the Gastroenterology department, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Teach and train medical students and postgraduate doctors, promoting excellence in medical education.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and contribute to departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
