Overview:

As an Assistant Study Manager, you will oversee various stages of research projects to ensure the effective execution of our clients' objectives and the fulfillment of their requirements. This position requires proficiency in the design, implementation, and evaluation of both in vivo and in vitro studies. You will play a crucial role within our research team, contributing to innovative projects that further our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Operations: Conduct laboratory tasks including formulations, imaging, FACS, staining, and other in vitro activities.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the procurement of animals, compounds, and supplies necessary for ongoing research.
  • Business Development Assistance: Support the business development team in preparing proposals and related documentation.
  • Technical Implementation: Carry out studies with meticulous technical skill, ensuring exceptional quality and precision.
  • Study Planning & Protocol Creation: Develop and refine effective study designs and protocols to achieve project goals.
  • Documentation & Resources: Create, validate, and disseminate study-related documents and resources.
  • Data Evaluation & Reporting: Produce metrics, perform data analysis, and compile study reports and presentations.
  • Communication Management: Act as the primary liaison, facilitating communication across various departments and with clients.
  • Safety Oversight: Assess adverse events to guarantee safety and effectiveness.
  • Study Monitoring: Regularly track and report on the progress of research projects.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in a relevant scientific discipline is essential.
  • Fundamental understanding of in vivo, in vitro, or biomarker research.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Familiarity with oncology target biology and modern cell biology methods in drug discovery.
  • Experience in translational research within oncology.
  • Prior involvement in oncology-related animal studies, especially with small molecules and biologics.
  • Knowledge in immunology/inflammation biology in a research or clinical context.
