Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and support to line managers and associates on Employee Relations matters, including performance improvement, conduct issues, grievances, sickness absence, and flexible working requests.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into Employee Relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, the Associate Concept, and legislative requirements.
- Partner with line managers to develop and implement performance improvement plans and provide coaching on performance management.
- Provide interpretation of AR policies and processes to line managers and Business Partners, making recommendations for policy enhancements and updates as needed.
- Engage with the AR Manager and AR Lead on complex, high-risk situations, ensuring effective case management and resolution.
- Ensure accurate input into Service Now (SNOW) for case management and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the AR Manager to track and report on AR trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes as required.
- Develop and deliver AR Capability programs for line managers and P&O Business Partners, enhancing their skills and capacity in managing people issues effectively.
- Support the AR Manager on organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, business transfers, and changes to terms and conditions of employment.
- Identify AR trends and best practices, partnering with the AR Lead to implement actions and drive business improvement.
- Significant experience working in Employee Relations, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage internal and external resources to mitigate risks to the business and reputation.
- Strong consultancy and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and own discrete areas of responsibility, with a customer mindset and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in case management, including the use and development of case management and reporting systems.
- Confident in P&O data analytics and insight generation.
